(KLZA)-- A ground breaking ceremony is set Wednesday morning for a Falls City housing project.
The Excel Development Group will hold the ceremony at 11:00 to commemorate the construction of their Wilderness Falls II project on West 31st Street.
Preliminary work for the project is currently underway, with construction expected to take about a year.
There will be 7-duplexes, consisting of four 2-bedroom units, eight 3-bedroom units and two 4-bedroom units that will rent for $475, $515 and $560 per month respectively.
The public is invited to attend and a light lunch will be served.
Nebraska Lt. Governor Mike Foley and 1st District State Senator Dan Watermeier are both expected to have remarks during the ceremony.
