Atchison Drug Case Continued Again
10/12/2015

(KAIR)--An Atchison woman, arrested after a drug bust by the Atchison County Sheriff's Department, has had her case continued for the third time.

20-year-old Samantha Bruckerhoff-Crowell appeared in Atchison County District Court Friday morning, where a new hearing date was set for October 16th. During her last appearance on September 25th, her attorney informed the judge that a plea deal was in the works, and needed more time to finalize it.

Bruckerhoff-Crowell is facing charges of distributing marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school, interference with a law enforcement officer, driving while suspended, and aggravated endangering a child. She was arrested in August, along with 28-year-old Dale Rogers, after a controlled purchase was arranged by the Sheriff's Department in the parking lot of Walmart.

Rogers is scheduled to appear for an arraignment hearing on October 19th.
