(KNZA)--A Mayetta father and son have been arrested in connection with an alleged marijuana growing operation.
Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse says the sheriff’s office served a search warrant Wednesday at 12331 O. Road as a result of an investigation into the alleged cultivation of marijuana.
Morse says arrested at the scene were 51-year-old Barry Hase and 27-year-old Clayton Hase.
Both men were booked into the Jackson County Jail on charges of cultivating a controlled substance, possession of hallucinogenic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond for each was set Thursday at $35,000.
The Potawatomi Tribal Police and the Kansas Highway Patrol assisted with the execution of the search warrant.
