(KMZA)--The Nemaha County Fair begins Friday at the fairgrounds in Seneca and runs through Monday.
Friday evening will bring the swine and horse shows. Hot air balloon rides will be offered beginning at 6:00 at the Skoch Park shelter house, and the Big Time Grain Company Band will perform at the shelter house from 9 to midnight.
Highlights Saturday include the sheep, bucket calf and beef shows. That evening, classic cars will cruise the brick streets of Seneca from 7:00 to 8:30, as Cruise Night is held. Registration for the event will take place from 6 to 7 at Nemaha Valley Motors.
A full slate of activities are planned Sunday—including a pedal power tractor pull, Antique and Classic Car Show, public fashion revue, Barnyard Olympics, parade and entertainment.
The theme this year’s parade, which begins at 6:30, is “ Sew it, Grow it, Show it.” Entertainment will be provide Sunday evening at 8:00 with the Schmitz Blitz Band.
The fair will wrap up Monday evening with the livestock auction, beginning at 7:00.
