(MSC News)--An inmate in the Western Reception Diagnostic and Correctional Center in St. Joseph has pleaded guilty to a charge of second-degree murder in the stabbing death of a fellow inmate.
The St. Joseph News Press reports Lawrence Logan entered the plea Thursday in Buchanan County Circuit Court.
Logan is charged with fatally stabbing Christopher DeBoe at the prison in December of last year.
Both men were serving time as convicted murderers.
Logan faces 10 to 30 years or life in prison on the charge.
He’s scheduled to be sentenced October 6th.
