“When I was reading the newspaper this morning, I noticed the Super Kansas Cash jackpot had been hit and decided I’d better check my ticket,” said the winner. “When I got to work, I looked up the winning numbers on the Lottery’s website and was nearly speechless when I realized I had all the numbers. I immediately called my wife. When she answered, I said, ‘Are you sitting down? I think we just won the Super Kansas Cash jackpot!’”
After talking to his wife, the winner made the trip to Lottery headquarters in Topeka to claim his jackpot prize.
“I play Super Kansas Cash every week,” said the winner. “Sometimes I pick my own numbers and some days I’ll do a Quick Pick. You always hope you’ll win, but you never really expect it to happen.”
