(KLZA)-- The Mound City Board of Education approved the recommendation to hire Debi Clifton to work six hours per week as a speech implementer.
Superintendent Ken Eaton said the additional hours will provide the necessary minutes for students in speech therapy in the Mound City School District.
Superintendent Eaton also informed Board members about a lighting project for the new north parking lot to coincide with the wall and handicap parking project.
The total number of students attending the Mound City School District has increased by six. There are 267 students in grades K-12 and there are 18 Preschoolers.
