(KNZA)--A single-vehicle Jackson County crash Friday morning sent a Holton man to the hospital.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says it happened on U.S. 75 about one mile north of Mayetta around 7:40.
The Patrol says 59-year-old Charles Enault was northbound when he fell asleep at the wheel. His car entered the center grass median and struck a stop sign.
Enault, who was wearing a seatbelt, was transported to the Holton Community Hospital for the treatment of possible injuries.
