Missouri RAC Meeting in Atchison

The Kansas Water Office’s (KWO) Missouri Regional Advisory Committee (RAC) is set to meet to discuss current water issues affecting the region, as well as the state.

The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 14, at 9 a.m., in the USD 409 Community Room, 626 Commercial in Atchison, Kansas. The committee will receive updates on activities taking place to implement the Action Plans for the region that were adopted by the Kansas Water Authority, including a presentation on a groundwater study Phase II proposed by the Kansas Geological Survey. The RAC will also be working on the State Of The Resource materials with an expected public meeting this fall.
