The Falls City Knights of Columbus has announced the winners of their annual Drug and Substance Abuse poster contest.
More than 150 entries were submitted from Falls City Sacred Heart, Falls City South and Middle Schools. Winners were determined in drug awareness and alcohol awareness categories with 8-to-11 and 12-to-14 year old age divisions.
In the drug awareness category, first place among 8-to-11 year olds was awarded to Abby Fiegener, second place to Lexos Robinson, and third place to Brooklyn Romine. The 12-to-14 winners were Peyton Campbell, first place; Darcy Snethen, second place; and Taylor Bachman, third place.
In the alcohol awareness category, first place in the 8-to-11 year old division went to Rylie Sailors, second place to Haylee Vice, and third place to Jacie Fisher. The 12-to-14 year old winners were Sydney Brewer, first place; Sophie Keller, second place; and Bailey Bindle, third place.
Winners received cash prizes of $15 for first place, $10 for second, and $5 for third.
