The Riverside girls and boys track teams both handily won their home invite on Friday, March 30th in Elwood. The Cyclone boys finished 75 points ahead of Bishop LeBlond while the Riverside girls were 110 points ahead of second place Dekalb with 12 teams competing. Both Oskaloosa teams finished in fifth place.
Conner Shultz had a standout day for the Riverside girls taking first place in the triple and long jump as well as the 400 meter run. Chandler Barger won the pole vault while Allie Simonin grabbed gold in the 300 hurdles and the Lady Cyclones also won three relay events. Jordan Miller of Oskaloosa placed first in the shot put and discus.
On the boys side, Riverside won a pair of relays while individual gold medals were won by Dylan Gabriel (1600 run) and Dakota Pummell (javelin) as well as Dylan Poinier, who placed first in both the pole vault and high hurdles.
