This 265 to 270 thousand dollar figure also includes renovation of the high school business lab technology, getting laptop carts in the middle school, and new carpet, painting, and electrical work in five additional classrooms.

The board also approved the purchase of 10 iPads for use in the schools by teachers for next school years as part of a technology upgrade project.

The board has also narrowed their search for a new PreK-12 Assistant Principal from 45 applicants down to seven.

Interviews for the remaining candidates are expected to begin next week.
