LeDoux Recovers In KC Hospital
04/20/2012

Trent LeDoux

If all goes as planned, State Representative Trent LeDoux will be back in the Kansas Statehouse when his fellow lawmakers return from spring break.

That follows his extended hospital stay, first in Topeka for a month, and now at the University of Kansas Medical Center, where he has been a patient for just over a week.

Starting as a case of (pank-ree-uh-ty-tuss) pancreatitis, discovered in late February when LeDoux began to suffer pain, the Republican from Holton says his medical condition morphed into another health issue, now resolved(Play Audio :23 seconds)

LeDoux says, despite his long hospital stay, he's been watching the action-or lack thereof, as he puts it-of the Kansas Legislature(Play Audio :16 seconds)

It's that day, LeDoux says, that he plans to be back in action in his role as State Representative(Play Audio :11 seconds)

LeDoux says if any constituent has any question for him, he encourages them to call the Medical Center to talk to him.

LeDoux, who was appointed to the 50th House District seat, is challenged in his bid for election by two fellow Republicans, Holton businessman Dan Brenner and Soldier physician Doctor David Allen.
