Trent LeDoux

Although he had planned to be there, Representative Trent LeDoux is missing the wrap-up session of the Kansas Legislature.

On April 20th, talking to this news department from his room at the University of Kansas Medical Center, the Republican, from Holton, told us he was monitoring the Legislative session, despite his ongoing hospital stays-first in Topeka, then at KU Med-and expressed his disappointment at the lack of decision making by the Legislature.

LeDoux said he was ready to help right that wrong, planning to be released from the hospital in time to return to the Kansas Statehouse(Play Audio :11 seconds)

LeDoux did receive his release from hospitalized care, but not for long.

On Saturday, in a post on his Facebook page, the appointed House Representative asked for prayers, saying he had to return to the University of Kansas Medical Center due to too many low grade fevers.

LeDoux, indicating that he'd undergo testing on Monday, called having to return to the hospital “depressing.”

LeDoux has been undergoing hospitalized care, off an on, since late Februrary when he began to suffer from pancreatitis.
