USD 415 Board Accepts Several Resignations & Fills Position
05/02/2012

The Hiawatha School Board Monday accepted several resignations and filled a position for next school year.
Following a closed door session, the board approved the hiring of Ryan Bauer--a Hiawatha High School graduate-- as the district’s new computer technician.  Bauer will replace Rick Prohaska, who is retiring at the end of the current school year.
The board accepted the resignations of high school social science teacher Travis Hampl, school social worker Amy Bebee, and elementary school secretary Carol Boggs.
Also accepted were the resignations of  Brent Krauter as head high school girls basketball boach, Damian Johnson as head middle school boys basketball coach, Gretchen Oldham as a member of the elementary school improvement team, and Wes Duesing as a school bus driver.
The resignations are effective at the end of the current school year.
