The Falls City, City Council will meet at 7 p-m Monday evening.
Agenda items include discussion on recommendations from the Board of Public Works to hire Kirkham Michael for engineering services to upgrade the well field and water plant at Rulo and also to purchase catalyst silencers for the Power Plant.
A request to advertise for a street sweeper will also be discussed as will remodeling of City Hall and the Utility Offices.
A public hearing on an animal permit application at 2300 Fulton Street will be discussed and a number of other various request are up for discussion including blocking off Stone Street between 14th and 15th Streets for a Street dance on June 14th; a request to place a stainless steel drop box on the sidewalk at 1816 Stone Street; Use of Stanton Lake and Streets for a 5K run on May 26th by the Falls City Volunteer Ambulance Squad; and approval of the Davis Addition as recommended by the Planning Commission.
