Area athletes shine in the Division II 8-man All-Star game this past Saturday. As the East squad featured 10 TVL players on the roster and was coached by Baileyville-B&B coach, Justin Coup.

It would be the East team running away with the victory 56-24 over the West team in the Division II game. After that the East team would open the flood gates and score 46 unanswered points and go on to win the game 56-24.

The B&B Falcon trio of Eric Huerter, Cody Heiman and Mitch Engelken combined for a huge portion of the offense for the East squad.

Huerter was 8-18 passing for 78 yards & 4 TD’s, also ran for 72 yards on 10 carries; while snatching up 2 interceptions on defense. His teammate Heiman ran for 73 yards and caught a 17-yard TD pass. While Mitch Engelken, ran for 233 yards on 20 carries with 3 TD’s (longest TD run of 64 yards); his 233 yards unofficial All-Star game record.
