Prices for school lunches will go up across the board at Jefferson County North Schools to meet federal mandates.
As part of the Paid Lunch Equity tool, the USD 339 school board passed the increase Monday evening in their regular meeting.
Elementary school rates will be two dollars and 15 cents, middle school at two 30 and high school, two 40.
Breakfast rates will remain unchanged.
The board also approved the resignation of high school math teacher Boyd Hutchinson and his wife, fifth grade teacher, Myra.
Boyd accepted a principal’s position in western Kansas and the couple will begin there the next school year.
