A party is planned in Seneca Friday evening to celebrate the grand opening of Main Street and the Pony Express Re-ride.
The reconstruction of three blocks of the city’s brick Main Street was recently completed and Pony Express Re-Ride will pass through town that evening.
Seneca Downtown Impact Director Donna Willmeth says the celebration dubbed “ Hit the Bricks” will be kick-off at 6 o’clock Friday evening with a ribbon cutting in front of the Pony Express Museum at the corner of 6th and Main and a small parade.
Willmeth says that will be followed by games, food, drink and music for the whole family...( play audio )
