Falls City Council Approves Rehab Projects

(KLZA) The Falls City, City Council Monday night approved three requests for owner occupied rehabilitation grant projects as recommended by the Housing Advisory Board.  Two projects were awarded to EZ Construction Company,  one in the amount of $23,995 and the second in an amount of $24,995.  The third project was awarded to McNealy Construction in an amount of $24,995.
    The Council also approved use of streets and parks for a Fun Run / Walk on October 27th sponsored by the Therapy Department of Community Medical Center.
    A request to use Stone Street between 14th and 15th and the Library parking lot on October 31st for a Chamber of Commerce Halloween event was also approved.
    Council members also authorized Mayor Tim Hersh to sign necessary documents changing the name of Towle Addition approved September 17th to Towle Second Addition.  The change was necessitated to ease confusion due to a 1913 plat of a Towle Addition.
