(KAIR) -- A Nortonville man will head to prison for just over three-and a half years in connection with a head-on collision in 2011 that claimed two lives.
Brian Keefe was sentenced to 43 months in prison Friday in Jefferson County District Court on two counts of involuntary manslaughter and two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence.
Keefe was arrested early last year by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office for being under the influence of alcohol or drugs during the accident on March 29th, 2011 that claimed the lives of 38 year- -old Shawn Fraker of Winchester and 27-year-old Daniel Walker of Oskaloosa.
Keefe was severely injured in the accident, which led to the delay in the charges.
After being released on bond in March on that case, Keefe was booked again in August 2012 for another DUI and has remained in Jefferson County Jail without bond since.
