JAG program turns around young lives
05/02/2014

The Jobs for America’s Graduates program is proving to be an excellent resource for at-risk students. One senior at Wichita North High School was 7 months pregnant and failing school. After joining the JAG program, she is now on stride to graduate in May. A teen father with drug addiction and depression issues is improving his grades and considering joining the military and attending college. A young man will be the first in his family to graduate high school and will attend KCK Community College on a Pell Grant this fall. Fluent in Spanish and English, he wants to assist Spanish-speaking students in the future.
