(KLZA)-- The Nemaha County, Nebraska Sheriff’s Department was called to investigate a report of a man shot while hunting at approximately 7:12 a-m Friday morning in southern Nemaha County.
Three men were hunting when a shotgun discharged and struck the left side of Marc A. Kinnamon of Auburn. Kinnamon was transported to the Nemaha County Hospital in Auburn by the Johnson Rescue Squad and was then transferred to Bryan LGH West Hospital in Lincoln where he was listed in stable condition.
The incident is being investigated by the Nemaha County Sheriff’s Office and the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.
