(KLZA)-- This is Severe Weather Awareness Week in Nebraska.
Monday night, March 30, Richardson County Emergency Management will present information at a town hall meeting in Shubert concerning the use of sirens. Emergency Management Agency Director Brian Dixon will be discussing severe weather warning sirens.
Additional topics will include, when it is necessary to use the warning sirens, and sirens vs fire whistles. The meeting is open to the public, anyone may attend.
The meeting will be held at the Shubert Community Building, 501 Main Street starting at 7 p-m. Refreshment will be available during the meeting.
