(KLZA)-- Three women sustained what were described as minor injuries in a Thursday morning three-vehicle wreck in the southbound lanes of Interstate-29 inside the city limits of St. Joseph.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol report, a vehicle operated by 37-year-old Jennifer Hood of Forest City, MO. was stopped on the outside shoulder. A vehicle driven by 60-year-old Veronica Thomas of Savannah, MO. traveled off the road striking the rear of the Hood vehicle. The impact propelled the Hood auto back into traffic, it was then struck by a vehicle operated by 54-year old Martha Mustion of Maryville, MO.
Thomas, Hood, and a passenger in the Hood vehicle, 32-year old Jenna Curtis, also of Forest City, were transported by ambulance to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.
The report indicates all three drivers were wearing safety restraints. There was no indication if the passenger was buckled in.
