Grant Writing Workshop Offered in Sabetha

A Grant Writing Workshop will be held on Wednesday evening January 24 in Sabetha for communities and groups in the area who want to discover how to secure funding for projects, programs or initiatives and develop confidence in their grant writing abilities.

Participants will learn about sources of data for community needs, elements of a great grant proposal, practicing the grant application elements and where to find grants. The workshop will be led by Nancy Daniels, Community Vitality Specialist with K-State Research and Extension.

The workshop is co-sponsored by the Meadowlark Extension District, Glacial Hills RC&D, Rural Development Association of NE Kansas, Greater Sabetha Community Foundation, Seneca Area Chamber/SDI, Nemaha County STEP Foundation, Northeast Kansas Enterprise Facilitation, Washburn SBDC and the Sabetha Chamber of Commerce and will be held at the Glacial Hills Business Center, 913 Dakota, Sabetha KS with a light meal served at 5:30 PM and workshop will run from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
