Phase one of a three tiered plan for improvements at Doniphan County's Library District One central branch in Troy is underway.
Working towards a goal of 200-thousand-dollars, fundraising efforts have begun in the effort of renovating the facility.

While an official wrap-up timeline is not yet set, the ideal date for completion of phase one of the renovation is June First, the day the library's summer reading program begins.
Hoverson says while the fundraising is underway, every donation, even the smallest, will go a long way to making the renovation a reality.
