A Jefferson county man was killed almost in the same spot Wednesday as another man was on Monday.

Kansas Highway Patrol officers say the accident yesterday evening was just after seven on highway 59, three miles south of Oskaloosa.

It took the life of 54 year old Donald Vandyke of Perry.

This was on three tenths of a mile from another accident Monday morning that took the life of Oskaloosa resident Marty Warriner.

The accident occurred when Vandyke’s 2003 Jeep was northbound on 59 when the vehicle left the roadway went across into the west ditch, rolled and the subject was ejected.

The patrol says Vandyke was not wearing a seatbelt.
