USD 415 Board Set To Hire New Superintendent
The Hiawatha School Board will hold a special meeting this( Thursday ) evening to hire a new superintendent.
The meeting will be held at 8 o’clock in the USD 415 board of education office.
During the past two weeks, the board has interviewed four candidates for the position.
They include William Orth, current superintendent of schools at Osage City; Adam McDaniel, current 7-12th grade principal for the Ell-Saline school district; Patrick Call, current superintendent of schools in Haven and Penny Hargrove, current assistant superintendent of schools at Valley Center.
The person selected will replace John Severin who is retiring at the end of the current school year after more than thirty-five years in education.
