 Marvin Albert Ingels, 90, of Netawaka, KS passed away Monday, February 2, 2015 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. He was born March 21, 1924 in Nemaha County, KS the son of Thomas S. and Maude (Wood) Ingels.
Marvin graduated from Netawaka High School in 1942. After graduation, he was drafted into the United States Army. Marvin was a farmer and stockman. Marvin and his wife, Melvena, were members of 16/75er’s Square Dance Club in Holton.
Marvin married Melvena M. Young-Vandervort on June 30, 1973 in Holton. She survives of the home. Other survivors include 2 brother-in-laws, Leonard Young of Topeka and Carroll Young of Santa Fe, NM and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Leone Armstrong and Edith Schumann and 2 brothers, Frank and Clarence Ingels.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 6, 2015 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton burial will follow in the Netawaka Cemetery.
