Jeanie J. Painter, 59, Winchester, died Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at the scene of a two vehicle accident in Oskaloosa.

Jeanie was born December 10, 1955 at Leavenworth the daughter of Jack Melvin and Janice Jacqueline Lutz Jolliffe. She was a 1973 graduate of Valley Falls High School and attended the Lawrence Beauty School in Lawrence. Jeanie had formerly worked at Edmonds’ Liberty Station in Oskaloosa and had served as a driver for the Jefferson County Service Organization for 14 years. She was currently on medical disability.

She was married to Clarence Melvin Painter on April 19, 1974 in Valley Falls, he survives at the home. She is also survived by her mother and step-father, Jackie and Raymond Madorin, Valley Falls, her step-mother, Carol Jolliffe, Wylie, TX, one son, Jonathan M. (Jennifer) Painter, Leavenworth, one daughter, Rebecca S.(Roger) McMullen, Topeka, one sister, Julie Kidd, Topeka, three half brothers, Benjamin Jolliffe, Wylie, TX, Danny Madorin, Valley Falls, David Jolliffe, TX, two half sisters, Lisa Jolliffe, Mesquite, TX, Angela Jolliffe, Wylie, TX,
and six grandchildren, Aidan Anderson, Elecktia McMullen, Stephanie Painter, Sierra McMullen, Meagan Painter and Danielle Painter.

Services will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Barnett Family Funeral Home, Oskaloosa. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Oskaloosa. Visitation will be one hour prior to Services, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Mrs. Painter will lie in state on Monday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Funeral Home.  Memorials are suggested to the Jeanie Painter Memorial Fund in care of the Funeral home, P.O.
