Lucille Fischer, 94, of Falls City, NE, passed away March 13, 2015 at Falls City. She was born March 11, 1921 at Rulo, NE to the late Joshua “Bucky” and Ellen (Noyes) Foster.

In 1940 she married Willard Scott at Rulo, he passed away in 1948. She then married Walter Fischer in 1950 at Hiawatha, KS. He passed away in 1985.

Lucille was raised at Rulo and attended school in the Rulo and Barada area. When married to Mr. Scott the couple established their home in Rulo. She was a cook at Camp Rulo and Northview Care Center for many years. When married to Mr. Fischer they lived north of Rulo and moved into Falls City in 1977. She retired from cooking in 1985 to help take care of her grandchildren and she also worked part-time for In Home Health.

Lucille is survived by her children, Walter Scott and his wife Mary of Hiawatha, KS, Nancy Lippold and her husband Steve of Salem, NE, Phillip Fischer and Debbie of Falls City, brother, Joseph Foster of Blair, NE, twelve grandchildren, several step-grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, children, Lee Scott, Linda Scott Williams, eleven brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Rulo Cemetery with Reverend Andrew Chavanak officiating.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
