James Derrick “J.D.” and Miley Wark passed away February 8, 2015 as a result of a vehicle accident in Hillsboro, TX, along with Miley’s mother, Amber.

James Derrick “J.D.”, 44, of Hillsboro, TX was born April 7, 1970 in Holton, KS the son of James Arthur Wark and Viva “Marie” Branam. J.D. attended Holton High School. He was an over the road truck driver hauling for construction and implement companies. He married Stephanie Rutledge, they later divorced. He married Carrie Oswald, they later divorced. J.D. was currently engaged to Amber Pope, she passed away in the accident.

 Survivors of J.D. include his mother and step-father, Marie and Gary Hards of Denison; 7 children, Jesse Page (Jessica), Derrick Page and Amanda Page all of Topeka, Hannah Wark and Jayden Wark of Hiawatha and Madison Wark of Hillsboro, TX; 2 sisters, Mary Winchelle (Charlie) of Topeka, KS and Bridget Wymore of Hoyt, KS; 3 brothers, Mike Wark of Amarillo, TX, Marty Wark of Toronto, KS and Stoney Hards of Denison, KS and one granddaughter.

J.D. was also preceded in death by his father.

  Miley Marie Wark, 3, of Hillsboro, TX was born May 21, 2011 in Topeka,  KS the daughter of James Derrick “J.D.” Wark and Amber Pope.

 Survivors include her sister, Madison Wark; 2 half-sisters, Amanda and Hannah Wark; 3 half-brothers, Jesse and Derrick Page and Jayden Wark; her grandparents, Marie and Gary Hards of Denison, KS and Kristie and Kenny Walters of Manhattan, KS.

 Funeral services for J.D. and Miley will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton with burial to follow in the Denison Cemetery.
