Velma “Colleen” Drake, 85, of Wathena, Kansas passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the Wathena Nursing & Rehab.

Colleen was born on December 2, 1929 in Horton, Kansas to George W. and Anna S. (Derringer) Goodpasture.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Cordonnier Ladies Club both of Wathena, Kansas.

Colleen married James E. Drake Sr. on December 23, 1947 in Oregon, Missouri. He preceded her in death on October 18, 2005. She was also preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers.

Survivors; sons, James “Jim” Drake Jr. (Melanie), Kenny Drake (Eugenie), Tim Drake (Nancy) all of Wathena, Kansas. Daughter, Deb Parsons (Brian) of Parkville, Missouri 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild Numerous nieces & nephews
