Mary Fay Gibbs, 87, of Horton, Kansas, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at the Mission Village Living Center in Horton, Kansas.

She was born on November 22, 1932 in Plattsburg, Missouri the daughter of Joseph and Mary Berten Taylor. Mary was a homemaker and a member of the United Methodist Church. On January 20, 1951 she married Eldon Gibbs in St. Joseph, Missouri. He preceded her in death on December 30, 2013.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Gibbs of Horton, Kansas; son, Michael Gibbs of Clarksville, Tennessee; brother, Charles Taylor of Chillicothe, Texas; three sisters, JoAnn Boller, Judy Jacobs and Linda Mace all of St. Joseph, Missouri; two grandchildren, Linda and Brenda; seven great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kaleb, Ananda, Hayley, Lewis, Jayden and Khalil and one great great grandchild, Jasmine.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Steven and a sister, Dorothea.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 4, 2019 at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas where the family will greet friends from 10:00 A.M. until service time.
