Kyler Michael Postma, 16, of Ozawkie, KS, formerly of Effingham, KS, died on Sunday, February 16, 2020.  

He was born August 19, 2003 in Horton, KS.  

Kyler attended Jefferson West Schools the last four years and prior to that in Atchison County Community Schools.

He is survived by his mother, Kelli Parkey of Effingham; his father, Michael and Tamara Postma of Ozawkie, KS; a brother, Andrew (Jessica) Crump of Cutler Bay, FL and five sisters, April (Bill) Dillow of Liberty, MO.; Allison (Walker) Servaes of Overland Park, KS; Katherine Postma of Ozawkie, KS; Graci Postma and Emili Postma of Effingham, KS; grandparents Eileen Carroll, Bill and Ginger Postma and James and Carolee Prickett.; nieces, Isabel Leonard, and Penelope Crump; and nephew, Caden Leonard.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Lucille Postma, a brother, Drake Banks and a niece, Mia Crump.

Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 22, 2020, at Jefferson West High School gymnasium, Meriden, KS.  Family will be receiving friends at 9 AM.  Pastor Jeff Cochran, Effingham and Pastor Al Schirmacher, Muscotah will be presiding.
