Valerie Lvaughn Robinson, 86, of Livingston, TX, formerly of Nortonville, KS, died Monday, December 21, 2020 at her daughter’s home in Livingston. 

She was born June 25, 1934 at Atchison, KS, the daughter of William Eugene and Ethel Eleanor Chaffin Wilcox. She was a 1952 graduate of Atchison County Community High School.  Mrs. Robinson worked 10 years for Page Airways in Atchison, retiring in 1994. She had formerly worked 30 years as a fraud and abuse investigator for Blue Cross and Blue Shield Insurance of Kansas.  

She was a member of the New Covenant Church in Nortonville, KS.  She served on the Board of Directors for Jefferson County Service Organization and the Community Homes in Nortonville. She was a longtime volunteer at Village Villa Nursing Home and at Jefferson County North Elementary School.
 

Valerie was married to Charles Albert Robinson on June 25, 1951 at Cummings, KS, he preceded her in death on July 29, 1995.  She is survived by her daughter, Betty Ann McFeeters, Livingston, TX, two brothers, Albert Wilcox, Larned, KS, William Edward Wilcox, Nortonville, KS, one sister, Carol Mair, Nortonville, KS, five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Alva “Gene” Wilcox and three sisters, Doris Harvey, Dorothy Presley and Beverly Ricketts.
