Darell Robert Grove, 59, of Seneca, Kansas died unexpectedly on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at the Nemaha Valley Community Hospital in Seneca, Kansas.

Darell was born on January 30, 1961 the son of Loys Ashton Grove and Ivalee (Perrill) Grove at Scott City, Kansas. Darell graduated from Northern Valley High School in Almena, Kansas. Darell enjoyed many hobbies but his true love was spending time fishing.

Darell is survived by a brother, Alvin (Anette) Grove, of Blue Springs, Missouri; three sisters, Freda (Nick Bauman) Grove, of Bancroft, Iowa, Ida (Jerrill Steward) Ray, of Richland, Missouri, and Debbie (Marvin Dougherty) Field, of Hiawatha, Kansas; and a very special friend, Monica Clear, of Seneca, Kansas.

A graveside service will be held at a later date and time in Long Island, Kansas. Popkess Memorial Chapel in Seneca, Kansas is assisting the family with local arrangements. www.popkessmortuaries.com
