Helen Volker, age 91 of Auburn (formerly Johnson), passed away Friday, April 9, 2021 at Good Samaritan Society-Auburn.

Survivors are her daughters and sons-in-law Jeanne and Jim Haith of Johnson; Barb and Dave Alschwede of Lincoln; Lisa and Danny Wenzl of Burchard; son and daughter-in-law Brad and Janice Volker of Johnson; 18 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; brother Harlan Bohling of Auburn; sisters and brother-in-law Marjorie and Willard Kuhlmann of Auburn; Carol Rathke of Iowa; sister-in-law Evelyn Johnson of Lincoln; other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be Saturday, April 17, 10:30 a.m. at St. James Lutheran (Long Branch) Church near Humboldt. Social distancing will be in place and masks are required, and the service will be broadcast on 87.9 FM in the church parking lot. Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 5:00 to 7:00.
