Jerry Lee Royer 84, Topeka, formerly of Meriden, died Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Stormont-Vail Hospital. 

Jerry was born August 21, 1936 at Topeka, the son of Owen and Ada Lorena Dearing Royer.  He was a 1955 graduate of Topeka High School.  He worked for the Aramark Vending Company 24 years serving as  manager of vending operations at Goodyear Company in Topeka, retiring in 2001.  He was a 50 year member of Masonic Lodge #415 of Perry and a 33rd degree Mason in the Scottish Rite Bodies of Northeast Kansas, as well as a member of Order of Eastern Star Chapter #399, Meriden.

He married Emily Elizabeth Rodecap on July 3, 1955 at Meriden, she preceded him in death on November 24, 2019. 

Survivors include, a son, Randy Royer, Tecumseh, two daughters, Sherry (Mark) Garner, Oak Grove, MO, Vicky (Larry) Ziegler, Meriden, eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.  He was also preceded in death by a brother, Tom Royer.

Visitation Gathering will be 3:00 to 4:00 PM, Sunday, with a Memorial Service and Masonic Rites at 4:00 PM  Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Barnett Family Funeral Home.  Inurnment will be at Meriden Cemetery.
