Albert “Archie” “ Al”, Ross Ray, 73 of Winchester, KS died, May 31, 2021 at F.W. Huston Medical Center. 

He was born November 16, 1947 the son of Donald Howard and Majorie L. Davis Ray.  Archie graduated from Winchester Rural High School in 1965 and attended Emporia State University. He joined the United States Army in 1967 to 1970 serving as a supply clerk, completing a tour in Vietnam. Archie worked at Hallmark Cards in Lawrence, retiring after 36 years.

  He married Anna Marie Schneider May 27, 1972 in Nortonville, KS, she survives of the home.  Other survivors include a son Travis Ray of Winchester and two granddaughters Jaclyn and Bailey Ray.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
