Shan had a passion for dirt track racing and was often an avid fan every weekend with Tammy at Thunder Hill Race track in Mayetta, Kansas. He sure did enjoy his Rock music and he and Jackie attended many Rockfests and concerts together. He was known for his dazzling eyes and very infectious smile along with his love of rock and roll. Friends and relatives can hear his passion for racing and rock in his voice with his boisterous shout of hell yeah! He received his name Blue from a childhood friend in passing when she said there goes Shan Blue but meant Green and it has stuck ever since. He was a kind, quiet and compassionate spirit, rarely did you ever see him without his bandanas.
