Sidney Clifton Kinsler, 73, of Holton, KS, passed away Monday, July 5, 2021 at his home with family by his side. He was born October 21, 1947 in Columbia, S.C., the son of Olin M. and Louise (Harris) Kinsler.

Sidney graduated from Eau Claire High School in 1965 at Columbia, S.C. He graduated from Kansas University with his Business Certificate. Sidney proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1965 – 1969, during the Vietnam Era.

He was an Applications Engineer for Sprint; retiring after 31 years. Sidney was awarded an U.S. Patent for Cirrus.

Sidney was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Holton, also serving as Deacon for many years; Director of Tri-County Girls Softball Association for 6 years and a member of Johnson County Parks & Rec Basketball for 8 years.

He married Donna Sue Brown on March 15, 1969 in Holton. They celebrated over 52 years of marriage.

Survivors include his wife, Donna of the home; 3 daughters, Missy Miller (Keith) of Ft. Scott, KS, Becky Frost (Robert) of Clyde, TX and Katie Kinsler of Overland Parks, KS; sister, Donna Ray (Gerald) of Columbia, S.C. and 6 grandchildren, Courtney, Jacob, Madison, Audrey, Jaron and Kaylyn.

 Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 9, 2021 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Holton. Burial with Military Honors will follow at the Holton Cemetery.
