Marjorie Rose Hundley, 88, of Holton, KS passed away July 26, 2021 at Medicalodge Jackson County. She was born September 25, 1932 in St. Joseph, MO, the daughter of Frank S. and Anna M. (Schoeneck) Dowd.

Marjorie graduated from Lafayette High School in 1950. Marjorie lived in Holton, KS for over 60 years and had previously lived in St. Joseph.

She worked at Mode-O-Day as a clerk and also work at the Jackson County Association for Retarded Children. Marjorie was a member of the Holton First United Methodist Church, Grad Menniger Bible Study, the Ruth Circle at First United Methodist Church, Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary #3417, Cub Scout (Den Mother) and also did work with the girl scouts.

She married Duane L. Hundley on April 2, 1955 at the First United Methodist Church in St. Joseph. He preceded her in death on September 17, 2016. She was also preceded in death by a brother Franklyn Dowd, a grandchild and a great grandchild.

Survivors include 2 sons, Randy Hundley (Kristie) and Lawrence Hundley (Marsha) both of Holton; 2 daughters, Rosanna Wilson (Keith) and Laura Ladusch, both of Circleville, KS. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Memorial Service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow the Memorial Service at the Holton Cemetery.
