Raymond Vinsonhaler, 80, of Falls City, NE, passed away September 12, 2021 at Falls City. He was born on June 27, 1941 to Clarence and Edith (Grady) Vinsonhaler.

He married Delores Schawang in February of 1971 and they were later divorced. He married Ruth Meugniot in 1990 and they were later divorced.

Raymond enlisted in the United States Air Force on July 23, 1963, he earned a good conduct medal and was honorably discharged on May 1, 1967.

Raymond was raised at Falls City and graduated from Falls City High School in 1960. Following graduation he took employment with Frontier Homes and then Falls City Creamery. He then enlisted in the Air Force and upon his discharge returned to Falls City and then moved to Omaha, NE where he worked for Conagra. He returned to Falls City and worked various jobs, most notably he managed the Legion Club and worked at Corner Liquor. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, VFW, American Legion, DAV, Falls City Honor Guard and Elks Lodge, all of Falls City.

Raymond is survived by step-children, Ann Huerter and her husband Jim of Topeka, Kim Bauman of Topeka, Candy Bauman of Falls City, Jeff Hoppe of Falls City, Lari Joe Thompson and her husband Todd of Rulo, many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Don and Larry and a step-child, Don Hoppe.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Lawrence Stoley as the presiding priest. Inurnment will be in Steele Cemetery. Military graveside honors by Falls City Ceremonial Honor Guard.

A Parish Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 9:30 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
