Michael B. Clement, 72, of Horton, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at his home in Horton, Kansas.

He was born on July 27, 1949 in Sabetha, Kansas the son of Cloyde and Elsie Gress Clement. Mike farmed with his dad on the family farm for years, worked for Goodyear Tire before going to work for USD #430 School systems in the maintenance department until he retired.

He loved being outdoors trapping, hunting, fishing and running coyote dogs. Mike was a member of the St. Leo’s Catholic Church where he served on the church council and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Mike was a man that wouldn’t want anyone to brag about him, but he was blessed with so many god gifted talents he could do anything, he would work until the job was done and do anything for anyone. He enjoyed watching is grandchildren participate in all there school activities and donating when they needed it. Mike also loved to spend time in his garage visiting and entertaining his friends and family and always said your welcome here anytime.

On August 10, 1968 he married Jane Ann Tinsley in Horton, Kansas. She preceded him in death on July 15, 2001.

Survivors include two daughters, Tisha (Jason F.) Thomas of Horton, Kansas and Tara (Doug) Speer of Horton, Kansas; six grandchildren, Hunter Speer, Karlyn “Dolly” (Brant) Morris, Jaden Speer, Tiara Bolin, Angelina Thomas and Aubrey Thomas; brother, Rick (Debbie) Clement of Horton, Kansas. He was also preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral mass will be at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at the St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Horton, Kansas where a rosary will be recited at 10:00 A.M. prior to the funeral mass. Burial will follow at the St. Leo’s Catholic Cemetery.
