Harold W. Myers, 71, Lancaster, Kansas died Monday, October 4, 2021 at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Memorial services will be Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with Seth Montgomery officiating.  Interment will follow in Alderson Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, October 16th from Noon until time of services at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions are suggested to the Faith Home Health and may be left in care of Arensberg-Pruett Funeral home with whom final care has been entrusted.

Harold was born September 7, 1950 in Atchison, Kansas the son of Harold Ray Myers and Barbara Muncie Myers.  He attended school in Effingham, Kansas and graduated from Atchison County Community High School.

He and Vicky Clem were united in marriage on November 18, 1972 in Lancaster, Kansas and were just one month short of celebrating their fiftieth wedding anniversary.

Harold worked as a truck driver for numerous trucking companies through the years until his retirement.  In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and most especially enjoyed the time he spent with his grandchildren.

He was a member of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Vicky Myers of the couple’s home in Lancaster, KS; s son, Curtus (Michelle) Myers, Lancaster, KS; a daughter, Rachael (Michael) Pease, Lancaster, KS; a brother, Terry Myers, Lancaster, KS; two sisters, Marsha Lutz, Lawrence, KS; Fay Sternsdorff, Lancaster, KS; seven grandchildren, Christian (Jessica); Courtney; Nathan; Kaleb; Cameron; Lilah; Chanler and two great grandchildren, Cooper and Everleigh.

Harold was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Myers.
