Terry Lynn Meyer, 68, of Soldier, KS, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Advent Health Care Center in Overland Park, KS. He was born April 16, 1953 in Axtell, KS, the son of Frank H. Meyer, Jr. and Mildred A. (Olberding) Meyer.

Terry graduated from B & B Baileyville High School in 1971. He worked for over 32 years at Goodyear Tire Company, retiring in 2012. Terry was a volunteer fire fighter for Soldier Fire Department.

 He married Patricia Anne Vogelsberg on October 27, 1973; she preceded him in death on January 11, 2011. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mildred Meyer and 2 brothers, Roy and Glen Meyer.

 Survivors include his daughter, Jaime Hudson (Joe) of Grain Valley, MO; 2 sons, Brian Meyer of Soldier, KS and Scott Meyer (Fate) of Meriden, KS; 6 grandchildren, Gehrig, Hailey, Taden, Tanner, Colton and Brody; 4 brothers, Gary Meyer (Nancy), Dan Meyer (Vickie), Mark Meyer (Brenda) and Alan Meyer (Joan) and a sister-in-law, Sue Meyer.

 Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow at the Soldier Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday evening. Terry will lie in state beginning Sunday afternoon. Memorials may be given to the Soldier Cemetery c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O.
