Harold L. Gordon, 70, of Okarche, Oklahoma, formerly of Horton, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at his daughter's home in rural Powhattan, Kansas.

Harold was born on April 3, , 1951 in Horton, Kansas the son of Myrton and Ruth Wenger Gordon. He graduated from Horton High School and completed his certification for Auto Body repair and painting at Atchison Vo-Tech. On July 8, 1977 he married Helen Lolita Reed in Whiting, Kansas. He stepped into the lives of Lolita's daughters, Sue and Jennifer Reed, and also raised a daughter he shared with Lolita, Samantha Gordon.

Harold had a passion for his family and friends, his riding motorcycles, driving a big truck and spreading smiles where ever he went. He was an original member of the Kansas Reapers motorcycle club and was known for his abundant generosity and giving nature. Harold was a friend to anyone he met, his kindness touched many hearts.

Harold was preceded in death by his father, Myrton Gordon, mother, Ruth Wenger Gordon, wife, Lolita Gordon, brother, George Gordon, nephew, Brian Willich and granddaughter, Sara Elizabeth Stevens.

He is survived by his daughter, Samantha Gordon, bonus daughters, Jennifer West and Sue Thacker, brother, Lee Gordon, sister, Jean Willich, grandchildren, Mitchell, Shelly, Dominic, Duaine, bonus grandchildren, Jasmine, Zach, Christian, Emma, Alexis and Charlie, along with several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas where the family will greet friends from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the mortuary. Inurnment will be at the Horton Cemetery. Memorials may be  made to the Harold Gordon memorial fund to be designated later and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
