Roy Clifton Minks Jr., 77, of Humboldt, Nebraska, passed away unexpectedly November 25, 2021.  He was born to Roy C. and Dorothy (Dodd) Minks Sr. on January 6, 1944 in Wichita, Kansas.  Roy served in the United State Air Force from August 20, 1963 until his discharge on July 18, 1967. Roy believed in giving second chances.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Paul Dodd and Sheila Dodd-Miller and recently lost his daughter, Paula Hallberg.

Roy is survived by his siblings, Thomas Minks, Rebecca Minks-Hoover, Steven Dodd, Robert Dodd and numerous nieces and nephews, and his children, Heather Stevens and spouse, Temple Minks and spouse, Kimberly Minks, Clifford Minks and spouse and many grandchildren.

May Roy rest in peace and know he was loved.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at the Wherry Mortuary, 207 N. Nemaha Street in Humboldt, Nebraska with Pastor Dorothy Smith officiating.

A Graveside Inurnment will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at The Omaha National Cemetery in Omaha, Nebraska with full military honors conducted by the Offutt Air Force Base Honor Guard.

Memorial are suggested to the family with a later designation.
